Outdoor steps are the first and last stone a visitor touches. Sized wrong, they're a trip hazard; sized right, they disappear into the approach. Every set we build starts with a stride measurement and ends pitched to shed water away from the house.

    From the ground up — footing, risers, treads, side-walls — or surgical repair where a tread has cracked or a riser has shifted.

    Entry stairs shape curb appeal more than any other stone element on the front of a house. They also raise appraisal value on resale.

    Built to drain.

    Every tread is pitched away from the house; every joint is set against water sitting. Done right, stone steps outlast the house around them.
