MASONRY · § II
Interlocking stone, built to outlast poured concrete.
A paver driveway is a slab's structural equal with a stone surface's character. Individually replaceable, freeze-thaw-tolerant, and able to hold a car for decades if the base under it is prepared right.

PAVERS OVER CONCRETE.
- 01
Interlocking system
Pavers share load across the whole field — no single paver carries a full tire load. Concrete cracks at its weakest point; pavers don't have one.
- 02
Single-paver replacement
If one paver chips or stains, we pull and replace that paver. Concrete requires a saw cut and patch that shows for the slab's life.
- 03
Character, not pour texture
Tumbled concrete, clay brick, or Belgian block set in a pattern that reads as architecture — not as a rectangle of grey.
Compacted stone base, edge restraint, proper slope. The visible stone is the last 10% of the work; the base is the 90% that determines whether it holds.
