Walkways
Paver, flagstone, and concrete walkways across Falls Church, Arlington, Vienna, and the rest of Northern Virginia. We dig out the base, set the stones to grade, and finish the steps clean.
How we build walkways
A walkway is a surface that takes weight every day for the next twenty winters. The base does the work. We dig down, lay fabric and gravel in the right order, compact in lifts, then set the stones to grade with the right joint sand on top.
Steps are their own thing. Risers and treads come out level. The landing pad drains. And the transition between landing and walkway reads as one piece. Paver, flagstone, or bluestone. Your call. We can pull from existing brick or stone on site if the look needs to match the house.
