Retaining Walls
Stone-veneer and segmental-block retaining walls across Falls Church, Arlington, Vienna, and the rest of Northern Virginia. We pull in the drainage pipe, lay the gravel backfill in lifts, and build the wall to last.
How we build walls
A retaining wall has two jobs: hold soil back, and let water out. Skip the second one and the wall fails in five years. We pull in perforated drain pipe, wrap it in fabric, backfill with clean gravel in compacted lifts. Whatever the wall looks like up top, that's the part you don't see that decides if it's still standing in twenty years.
Multi-wall and tiered jobs are most of what we do. Stone veneer over block, segmental block on its own, fieldstone where the look matters. We size the base course to the load and the slope. The cap goes on level even when the run isn't.
What customers say

"Their crews came when they said they would and they left a nice clean job site at the end of every day."
"Many of our neighbors were so impressed by the work, they are getting work done also."
